Port Stephens Netball Association has spent the June long weekend participating in a flagship event on the Netball NSW calendar.
The 3 day tournament showcases the strength of grassroots netball with athletes from across NSW (and the ACT) coming together to play the game that they love.
Port Stephens Netball Association had two teams entered in the 2022 event, with our 15 Years team led by coach Naomi Myers, and manager Emma Penfold.
These athletes that represent teams from across the Member Clubs of our Association were supported over the three days by their biggest fans, family and friends.
This team had some really great results on the court and finished in Top 10 of Division 3 with 9 wins 8 losses and 1 draw . The players were lucky to meet players from both Giants and Swifts over the past 2 days .
The Port Stephens Opens team had a challenging three days, and while they didn't come away with the wins, they played with spirit and great sportsmanship over the event .
A big thank you to Nadina Marsh coach and manager Sam Rumbel for your commitment to our representative netball program. The Opens team was equally supported by an amazing cheer squad and the team really valued your support from the side lines.
The team at Port Stephens Netball can't wait to do it all again in a few short weeks when we head into the HART Junior State Titles, so be sure to keep out for live posts on our Facebook page.
