PSNA Netball News

There's a lot coming up as we head towards the end of the netball season and below is a snapshot to keep all our members up to date.

Annual Review of Constitution and Policies

As communicated in our June Council meeting, all members are invited to learn more about our Constitution and Policies as part of the annual review.

Over two sessions:

  • Sunday 28 July - 10am at our PSNA Clubhouse

  • Sunday 4 August - 10am at our PSNA Clubhouse

Any changes to the Constitution, would then be considered at our March 2025 Annual General Meeting, as per the constitution.

Any changes to Policies may be considered at either the August 2024 Council meeting or the March 2025 Annual General Meeting, as per the constitution.

Paige Hadley Clinic

In a sold-out clinic, Paige is returning to Port Stephens to share her love of netball with our young netballers, and we can't wait to have Paige back at our courts.

Netball NSW Schools Cup Events

Netball NSW Schools Cup is designed to provide NSW Primary and Secondary School students with the opportunity to enjoy netball in an inclusive and enjoyable environment.

The Schools Cup should provide school aged participants with the opportunity to engage in an elevated netball experience through purposefully thought-out activations and game-play.

Port Stephens Netball Association is again hosting Netball NSW Schools Cup at our courts.

  • Thursday 8 August, Netball NSW Schools Cup - High Schools

  • Wednesday 14 August, Netball NSW Schools Cup - Primary Schools

Learn to Umpire Program

Umpires Convenor Jess invites our learner umpires to join her each Saturday over the final 6 weeks of our season, to build and grow your knowledge in a safe and fun environment.

Head upstairs at 9.40am each week, to learn more about the basics of umpiring and the work on putting that topic into practice out on the courts through your teams' umpiring duties.

The Learn to Umpire program is designed for our young umpire from around 12 onwards, who want to build their confidence in the art of umpiring. Each session will run for 30 mins.

Umpiring is a great part of our game, so be part of making our netball great and supporting our young umpires learn on and off the court.
